Light Overcomes Darkness

With all the darkness in the world today, we have one Hope… Jesus. It can be easy to look at what is going on in the world and feel scared, hopeless, overwhelmed, etc… BUT the truth is, no matter how dark the world is/can be, light will always outshine the darkness and the darkness must go where there is light. The darkness will not overcome the light. Jesus is the light of the world, and He has overcome the world. We must hold on to hope, remember that the darkness will not win - the battle is already won and Jesus won it. We must also shine our lights - through Jesus in us - and bring hope to a lost and dying world. And we must remember that Jesus has overcome the world, and so will we, if we keep our trust and hope in Him.  

John 1:5 “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”

John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
